STAIR OPTIONS FOR DEKTEK TILE’S CONCRETE DECKING

There are many ways to install DekTek Tile’s concrete decking on your stairs. No matter which option you choose, you’ll want to make sure the edge is locked in with a mechanically fastened border.  Here are a few of the most common ways:

DEKTEK TILE WITH WOOD/COMPOSITE DECKING

Mixing the concrete deck tiles with wood or composite decking really shows a beautiful contrast. The composite/wood decking is installed on the outside edges of the tread which locks in the deck tiles, and also looks aesthetically pleasing cantilevering over the edge of the riser

DEKTEK TILE STAIRS WITH ANODIZED ALUMINUM

With the anodized aluminum edge trim option, this allows you to bring the deck tiles all the way to the edge with a little cantilever (slight overhang past the edge of the riser) for a beautiful sleek look. This is a great option for customers who do not want to use wood/composite decking to lock the tiles in, and also when installing the deck tiles over existing concrete.
